What documents do I need to submit for admission to a doctoral programme?
Before proceeding with the pre-enrolment application, you must have ready scanned copies of both general and specific documents required by the programmes.
For all student applicants:
- A current and legible photocopy of the DNI (in the case of Spanish citizens) or passport or NIE (in the case of foreign citizens).
- Documentation justifying the application for part-time study status.
- Academic certification of the studies completed.
- Curriculum Vitae.
If you have an official foreign language certificate, please attach it to your application.
In the case of a foreign degree:
- In the case of a recognised foreign degree (within the EHEA): a certified or a collated photocopy of the accreditation certificate issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
- A certified or collated photocopy of the foreign Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree, or proof of having applied for them, as well as the academic certification of the studies executed, stating, among other details, the official duration in academic years (both documents duly legalised and translated, if applicable).
- A certified or collated photocopy of the certificate issued by the university that issued the degree stating that it allows access to doctoral studies in the issuing country.
It is important to note that some doctoral programmes may require additional documentation, such as letters of recommendation from prestigious researchers, a certificate of a specific language level, etc.
