What happens if I do not register for a year?
If you do not apply for temporary withdrawal through the established channels and do not formalise your registration within the established deadlines, this will be considered as a definitive withdrawal from the doctoral programme.
During the academic year, students may request temporary withdrawal from the programme for one year, extendable for a further year, for justified reasons. This request must be addressed and justified to the Academic Committee responsible for the programme, which will decide on the matter. Unless there are unforeseen circumstances, such withdrawals must be requested within the period established by CEINDO.
Lastly, the researcher in training may apply to the Academic Committee, at any time, for definitive withdrawal from the doctoral programme, which will be recorded in his/her file and will entail the renunciation of the Activities Document and the Research Plan.
